  <title>Eighth Plot Update</title>

  <description>Time is teetering on the edge of running out completely. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;While characters are searching for the heart seeds, they will feel an increasing pressure from Kingdom Hearts from all around them.   <description>The moment characters start to exit the memories they are in, even for a break, they will notice something very wrong. Any characters that have a lot of experience and knowledge of darkness, and in particular any characters that have previously been possessed by Xehanort, will be able to instantly recognize the problem: Xehanort has seeded Sora&apos;s heart with pieces of his own, and is attempting to take control!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There is time to stop it before it&apos;s too late, but it will require your characters to act quickly!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;hearts;&amp;hearts;&amp;hearts;&amp;hearts;&amp;hearts;&amp;hearts;&amp;hearts; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;[OOC]&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There will be a larger, separate thread in the future where characters can directly deal with the heart seeds problem.   <title>Sixth Plot Update</title>

  <description>Time is running out...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since many Appeals have been found in the second chain of memories, there is now a new chain to explore. Probably a good thing, as it could serve as a decent distraction from Kingdom Hearts’ continued attempts to draw people in. The sense of tiredness is growing stronger.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The growing darkness, however, is near impossible to ignore. It’s definitely centered around Sora’s station, although those that are more in-tune with darkness will probably now be able to tell something important: that it hasn’t been growing there naturally. Maybe this is why Kingdom Hearts has been acting more “aggressive,” for lack of a better term. More investigation could be in order...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here are the hints for the new memories:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1)  A memory of unmitigated war and bloodshed.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2) A memory of shadows overtaking a great savannah.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3) A memory of searching strange pipe-covered halls.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4) A memory of quiet remembrance on an ocean shore.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5) A memory of a candelit vigil through a forest.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6) A memory of falling into a dark and deep sleep.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7) Completely unknown (PLAYER’S CHOICE)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;[OOC]&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The darkness in Sora’s heart has reached a point where it’s definitely noticeable.   <description>Time is continuing to pass...but has it run out, or has something else occurred?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There’s not a new chain of memories to explore, and the feeling of encroaching darkness hasn’t subsided, but all characters awake will suddenly feel a strange draw towards Sora’s heart station.   <title>Fourth Plot Update</title>

  <description>Time has passed...it may seem like a lot to some, and very little time to others.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Everyone can tell that time has passed, if only because somehow things seem to be changing. It’s not quite as warm and comfortable in Sora’s heart as it was first starting out, and the lights that usually shine above the stations of awakening are growing a little dimmer. It’s mostly manifesting as a creeping feeling of unease to those stuck here. Those that are strongly attuned to darkness, or have spent a lot of time in Sora’s heart previously, may notice a little more than the others that something is...just off, although they can’t put their finger on what it is. Not yet, at least.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The changes to Sora’s station continue to grow more noticeable. All of the other images on the glass are growing disjointed, splitting and evening out so that the pictures are taking on a broken look. The subdividing continues on with the glass, too. What’s more, it seems like a couple of pieces, especially around the center, are losing their color...washing out to a desaturated blue.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Although in better news, it seems whatever was restricting form changes has lessened up now, allowing worlds and people alike to shift form. Either it was a moment of strangeness that passed...or else whatever was causing it has decided to shift tactics.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;[OOC]&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Characters are facing some big troubles ahead...for starters, this change in warmth and light is due to Xehanort slowly building up Sora’s darkness. It’s not starting out so noticeable, but will become moreso as time progresses and the darkness builds.   <title>Third Plot Update</title>

  <description>More time has passed, although how much, no one can say. One thing is certain, however...characters are still becoming more tired as time progresses. It’s slowly getting tougher to fight the urge to sleep.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are continued changes to Sora’s heart station, too. If anyone comes to visit it and looks closely, they’ll realize that it is continuing to subdivide into smaller pieces. Back up a little further from it, and characters may notice something else: the picture all surrounding Sora’s image on the glass is starting to warp and distort. It’s unclear what shape it’s taking right now...just that anything on the glass that’s &lt;i&gt;not&lt;/i&gt; Sora is having its glass pieces rearranged. It may be something worth investigating.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Aside from that, characters that go back to that space of darkness where the seven branching memories were first found will find &lt;i&gt;another&lt;/i&gt; branch coming off the first, with seven new memories. Once again, it’s impossible to tell what exactly the memory is from the outside. However, there are hints as to each one:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1) A memory of a happy family enjoying a day outdoors.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2) A memory of an army of Heartless charging forward. &lt;small&gt;(Contains Heartless enemies)&lt;/small&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3) A memory of a sacrifice to save a friend’s life. &lt;small&gt;(Contains Heartless enemies)&lt;/small&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4) A memory of a meeting at a dark city skyscraper. &lt;small&gt;(Contains Heartless enemies)&lt;/small&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5) A memory of a Keyhole sparking with power. &lt;small&gt;(Contains Heartless enemies)&lt;/small&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6) A memory of three friends reuniting in a pale castle. &lt;small&gt;(Contains Nobody enemies)&lt;/small&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;7) Completely unknown (PLAYER’S CHOICE)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Characters may have discovered some Appeals in the memories of the previous round! There are certainly more to find here, and it’s in their best interests to find as many as possible! These Appeals can be passed around to anyone and everyone, but it would probably be easiest for the person that found them to hold on to them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There’s one other thing that characters may find problematic: outside of these memories, characters will suddenly find it a lot more difficult to change their forms at all. World characters will mostly be stuck as worlds, and people as they currently are as people. While it &lt;i&gt;is&lt;/i&gt; possible to change one’s look, it requires a lot more concentration and focus, and is easily broken. Apparently, something is trying to restrict what characters can do, at least for now...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;[OOC]&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The search continues on for Sora! Except for the added tiredness and the increased difficulty in form changing, this round of memories proceeds much in the same manner as the last. Memories are open for any character, with 2-4 in each. You can sign up for which memory you’d like to explore in the comments section below! Also, if you are still threading in a previous memory, you are free to continue to backtag it as much as you like.   <title>Second Plot Update</title>

  <description>Time has passed...more, perhaps, than some might first realize.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Through investigation, some important things have come to light. The most important thing is that Sora has been possessed by Kingdom Hearts as a result of taking in every heart to try and defeat Xehanort. It seems this is the cause of characters finding it easy to communicate via their thoughts...and is perhaps the reason that Sora is still asleep, too. But everyone may now know that there is always &lt;i&gt;something&lt;/i&gt; around them aware of their thoughts and actions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And perhaps most troubling it’s become apparent that, for reasons still unclear, Kingdom Hearts is trying to take in all the hearts it can, through them falling asleep. If your character falls asleep, they will find themselves in great danger of being lost to Kingdom Hearts. It’s in their best interests to never let themselves fall asleep. Unfortunately, this will become more difficult as time passes, as characters may find themselves feeling more tired than before.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If characters attempt to retrace the last memory seen of Sora, they’ll find something new, though: seven different lights. Touching on these lights will reveal more memories hooked into Sora’s memory chain, only &lt;i&gt;some&lt;/i&gt; of which belong to Sora. If anyone looks at these from the outside, they will first receive only a vague idea of what the memory is. The possibilities are as follows:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1) A memory of nothing but endless darkness.&lt;br /&gt;2) A memory of a bright and cheerful festival full of friends.&lt;br /&gt;3) A memory of a shadowed figure standing outside a great stadium.&lt;br /&gt;4) A memory of two boys hiding behind a laboratory door. &lt;small&gt;(Contains Heartless enemies)&lt;/small&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5) A memory of a great storm of darkness destroying a tropical island. &lt;small&gt;(Contains Heartless enemies)&lt;/small&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6) A memory of a forgotten promise made with a young blonde girl.&lt;br /&gt;7) Completely unknown (PLAYER’S CHOICE)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Like the previous memory, these new possibilities can be explored, although these can be explored by anyone who wants to investigate.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Aside from the new memories, there are some other things characters might try to wake up Sora. They’ll want to hurry, though...time is running out. Anyone who goes to check on Sora’s heart station will notice that it’s continuing to change. While the picture is mostly the same, the pieces of glass seem to be subdividing into smaller and smaller pieces...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;[OOC]&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With all this new information coming to light, it’s more important than ever that characters attempt to find a way to wake up Sora! Thankfully, there’s a lot of different things you can try.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The seven memories available to explore are only the first of many rounds, as characters will soon discover each memory leading into another chain. There is the possibility that Sora’s consciousness is lost in one of these memories branching off from his last one. There is a method to this exploration madness, however.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At each round, characters will find themselves presented with &lt;i&gt;seven different options&lt;/i&gt;. These options are memories that they can see linked in the chain. They may be memories of things they’ve never experienced, or they may be their own, there’s no way of knowing. The only way to find out what’s in them is to enter and relive them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Luckily, you don’t have to choose just one of the seven options given to you. If characters want, they can split up into groups and explore multiple memories at once. Once a memory has been found and “unlocked,” so to speak, characters can also leave it at any time to return to a world or their heart station and then come back to it without interruption.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These memories may or may not contain enemies, usually Heartless, that &lt;i&gt;will&lt;/i&gt; attack characters whether they are prepared or not. Memories that contain enemies will be indicated as such.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Exploring memories is not just about finding Sora, either - there’s something else essential hiding in them. Waiting at the end of each memory is something that we’ll be calling &apos;Appeals&apos; - an important lesson, emotion, attitude, or function that defines the memory, and therefore the heart. These Appeals can be a variety of different things, but all kinds will be &lt;i&gt;essential&lt;/i&gt; should you make it to the end of the game. It is in characters’ best interests to collect as many of them as possible.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How to get Appeals? That is dependent on what your characters do while in these many memories! Sometimes it will call for characters not to interact with the memory at all, sometimes it will be to change something drastic. Sometimes it will be to defeat enemies, to save someone in trouble, or to hurt who is responsible. It could be as tricky as talking to the memory’s owner and changing the course of it, or even be as simple as picking up an important object. It’s up to your characters what they do with the memories they are investigating...and hopefully, they will find Sora in one of them!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These memories can be explored by groups of two to four characters at a time. If you’d like to pick one to explore, sign up on one of the comments below!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Don’t want to do memory exploration? There’s some other options that characters may want to jump in, too:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Knowing that Kingdom Hearts itself &lt;i&gt;is&lt;/i&gt; present and listening, some characters may want to attempt to actually ask it questions...just as long as they don’t approach it directly, since that could put them in serious danger. Whether or not it will reply is entirely debatable, but they can certainly try communicating with it in another thread.&lt;br /&gt;- If there’s anything that might help, it can be testing the limits of what the heart can do in this place. Those feeling exploratory can attempt to change their heart form in another thread, and see how far they can push new forms.&lt;br /&gt;- Those feeling extremely brave can attempt to find Sora out in the open darkness itself.   <title>Time Change Two</title>

  <description>Time has passed, although how much, no one is sure.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Only a few things seem to be more clear now. The first is that everyone is in the heart of Sora; whether he was a best friend or total stranger, and whether a person, animal or a world. This is specifically for characters at that event, which would be: &lt;b&gt;Riku, Kairi, Ven, Aqua, Donald Duck, King Mickey, Lea, Eraqus&lt;/b&gt; and &lt;b&gt;Isa&lt;/b&gt;. If you would like your character to participate in the thread (and it&apos;s &lt;i&gt;not&lt;/i&gt; a requirement), please sign up in this post. However, &lt;i&gt;only&lt;/i&gt; do so if you can keep up and tag at a decent pace, since this thread needs to keep moving!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyone else that wants to participate may want to follow Disney Town&apos;s suggestion and try raising their voices to get Sora&apos;s attention.   <description>The last thing you remember clearly is a great darkness overtaking everything. It engulfed the world, everything you saw...and then you. And now, suddenly, you find yourself awakening on a high platform made of stained glass. The only light seems to come from somewhere distantly above you, and from within the platform itself. Looking closely, you’ll likely discover your own image upon the platform, along with images of the people and places most important to you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What happened to bring you here? You feel like you should have some memory of something happening between the darkness and now, but that memory is hazy for some reason.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A few other things become apparent quickly...this whole place feels warm and comfortable; a nice place to rest if circumstances were different. You can summon weapons, but they don’t all feel quite the same, and any loose items on you are now missing. There’s also a bright aura around your entire person. You might even recognize just where you are, if you’ve been here before.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What to do? The first step is to find out if you’re alone in this place - reach out to anyone and everyone you may know, and you just might find them at their own heart stations, or on a world. You might find it remarkably easy to communicate with someone even though you can’t see them...or might find it impossible to reach someone that you know well. Either way, finding others and figuring out where you are is the first task necessary towards finding a way out!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts; &amp;hearts;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;[OOC]&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Welcome to the opening week for &lt;i&gt;All So End&lt;/i&gt;! New mod updates will happen roughly every two weeks IRL or so, but since there is no real set time, they could potentially happen at other days, too.
